In other news, I leave for Jordan on Friday! I am generally an anxious international traveler, there is a high-alert travel advisory, and last night's episode of Lost (I'm in the first half of season 2) did not help at all -- but I'm feeling surprisingly calm and stress free. I am done with all my preparatory shopping, by and large, and tonight I'll do laundry and the big pack. Friday I'll take a morning train to New York, meet my friend Allison for a quick meal, and then head out to JFK. Wahoo!
