we went to the nationals' opening day a few weeks ago. unfortunately, it was freezing cold, but there was nothing like skipping work in the middle of the day to go to a baseball game and eat a ben's chili dog with chris.

the grey haziness contrasting with the bright primary colors of the field actually made for some really lovely photos. chris got me a package of tickets for Christmas so we've got a few more games this season, including a game on July 4 against the Cubs!
